“We would like a special backyard for our family and friends to enjoy”. Van de Poll Garden Design took this request to heart when we designed and project managed the backyard of this South Surrey Residence. We had a ‘blank canvas’ to work with –the small concrete patio was removed and the lawn area reduced. The wish list included a swimming pool, spa, water fall & pond, outdoor kitchen, several patio areas, covered patio, year round planting interest, recreation lawn, pool cabana, lighting, irrigation, and heating. These various elements became puzzle pieces that needed to be fitted in a practical & creative way. We feel we were successful, as the client’s family is often on ‘vacation’ in their own backyard.
