At the Home & Garden Show!

02/16/08 -- Thank you to all who come to visit our display at the Home & Garden Show at BC Place (February 24-28, 2008). The response to Van de Poll Garden Design’s studio gallery display is always overwhelming! The commissions for new and exciting garden design work will keep our office busy for months to come.
A Sleek Collabration 24/03/06 -- Van de Poll Garden Design had the opportunity to make a splash at the Vancouver Home and Interior Design Show (October 2005, BC Place). The splash was with an arrangement of sleekly planted garden pots surrounding the feature display home. Van de Poll’s design goal was to accent and complement the exterior and interior of the feature display home at the show.
This feature home was making it's Canadian debut at this show! The Glidehouse™ modular home is an ultra-modern home by Michelle Kaufmann Designs of California. It is designed for clean, simple living in collaboration with nature. It offers an affordable, low-maintenance, well-designed green housing alternative. This feature home was constructed by Construction Resource Group.
Van de Poll Garden Design worked alongside the “hot-in-demand” Ross Bonetti’s LivingSpace Interiors while creating the potted garden display.

City of Langley Requests Park Design
09/09/05 -- "We need a corner in our park that will be ideal for strolling, perfect for relaxing, and suitable for wedding photography." These were the guidelines expressed by Len Walters, of the City of Langley, when requesting Van de Poll Garden Design to design a new corner of Sendall Gardens (201A St & 50 Ave). The design proposal provided by our company has brought such an enthusiasm and interest within the City of Langley, that a fundraising campaign is underway to see the construction take place as soon as possible. The proposal includes a seating area with an overhead rustic arbour, raised stone planter, bridge over a dry creek bed, and a bold curving walkway through planting and lawn areas. Stay tuned: we will announce the opening 'ribbon cutting' ceremony when the date is set. Making the short list: Canadian House & Home's Gardening Life includes Van de Poll Garden Design in an exclusive list
01/28/05 -- A recent issue (Jan/Feb 2005) of Canadian House & Home’s “ Gardening Life Magazine” provided a short list of recommended landscape designers and architects. That list included Van de Poll Garden Design. To be included in a list that includes the top firms across Canada is a sign that our gardens are being enjoyed by our clients. The article is entitled ‘How to Hire a Garden Design Pro’, and reads “Canada is rife with landscaping talent, as the Gardening Life directory of 101 leading landscape architects, garden designers and design-build outfits from coast to coast makes clear’. Gardening Life Magazine's Senior Editor Danny Sinopoli said in a recent email to Van de Poll Garden Design:
"As you saw, the purpose of the piece was to guide readers through the steps of hiring a garden designer and so the attention a firm pays to client service -- especially residential clients -- was high on our list of criteria for inclusion on the list". In their exclusive list, the following is written about Van de Poll Garden Design: “Led by designer Reinier van de Poll, this firm promises “Garden Living Redefined” (and has the client testimonials to back it up)”. Look out Canada!
